Dear Sir or Madam,
I am currently browsing the Internet due to my interest in Electric Motors-Generators and Hydrogen Fuel Cells, etc., and I thought that I would write to your organization with regard to new clean energy technologies that I have invented. I am also a consultant to some companies in Canada and in China. However, currently I am writing as an independent inventor and designer and I have created a number of novel inventions of Electric Motor-Generators, Compressors and Pumps, etc.. Would your company may be interested in discussing the possibility of a joint development program and license agreement. Due to the patent application protocols of the U.S. Patent Office which you would be familiar with, I would require the signing of a standard confidentiality agreement prior to any disclosures. I am also seeking partners who are interested in developing and commercializing the new inventions and technologies. I have also created a number of novel inventions that implement generators for marine use and also for power generation and novel portable generators which are simple and environmentally beneficial. Some earlier designs were endorsed by associates at the Hughes Aircraft Company and Delco Electronics Company among others. I have several novel designs for specialized applications which are not included in the descriptions that I have enclosed which are highly unique and energy efficient. Novel Inventions of Electric Motor-Generators & Novel
Hydro-Electric Generating Systems, etc.
I am enclosing some information regarding my new inventions
of novel Electric Generators. The invention is very simple and a prototype can be
built relatively easily and at low cost. The new Generator, "GENESIS", is
around twice as energy (fuel) efficient as all other Electric Generators and Internal
Combustion, Diesel and Steam Engines on the market today. It is also much simpler
in construction and therefore projected to be around one-half of the manufacturing costs of
current designs and technologies for electric generators and engines. It also has the
capability to run on any fuel and the preferred fuel of hydrogen peroxide (or hydrogen)
produces or emits zero pollution. The products of combustion, steam (condensed into
pure water) and oxygen, will benefit our Earth's environment for generations to come.
According to a report that I recently read a summary of and which was made
available at significant cost to all of the major oil companies, oil production has
reached its peak on the Bell curve around 2000 to 2002 and until 2025 to 2050, production
and consumption will steadily decline. New technologies and new inventions are vital
to meet the increasing requirements of industries in North America and worldwide.
Water is one of the most plentiful fuel sources and can be converted into the preferred
fuels that I have mentioned. The conversion process is basically free, once floating
power generation stations are implemented using my novel invention of "THE GENESIS
TECHNOLOGIES" which convert the wave energy and motion of our world's seas and oceans
into stored rotational and electrical energy aboard retrofitted old barges, old ships and
even floating docks along the shorelines. Even subtle wave motion can
produce massive torques on the pontoons, wings, turbines or floating dock sections
(e.g., hinged onto the sides of the retrofitted barges and ships, etc.) and rev up
the flywheels to generate electrical energy. This is similar to the amplification of
torque by a tire iron to the nuts when one changes an automobile tire. A gear
ratio or transmission can rev up the flywheel up to one hundred times or more for every
degree of motion of the wing or turbine. On board, or on an adjacent land area, the
electrical energy from "THE GENESIS TECHNOLOGIES", which is essentially free once
the floating power generation stations are outfitted and implemented, provides the
electricity to both power any desalinization stations required (if necessary) and
to power the fuel plants which separate the world's oceans, lakes, rivers and other
water supplies into hydrogen and oxygen to produce the pure, preferred fuels of either
hydrogen peroxide or hydrogen. Hydrogen peroxide is preferred as it is very stable and
does not easily ignite or explode, unlike hydrogen, which can be dangerous, e.g., the
example years ago of explosions in blimps, etc.. The cost to operate
"desalinization" plants, outside of the initial construction costs of the plants
themselves, is minimized to almost zero. This can involve a multi-billion dollar
global industry alone as pure water for drinking, agricultural, industrial and
medical uses is fast becoming more precious and costly than oil!
I am enlosing some previously written descriptions of
"GENESIS" and "THE GENESIS TECHNOLOGIES" for your review. The
reason that "GENESIS" is highly energy efficient when compared with all other
internal combustion and diesel engines and all other portable electric generators and coal
and gas burning and co-generation power generation stations is that "GENESIS" is
designed to recover all Heat (Thermal Energy) which is normally wasted or lost in current
engines, generators and technologies and convert the recovered Thermal Energy into usable
electrical energy. The Heat from all car and truck engines and industrial engines in
factories is simply wasted and allowed to dissipate into the surrounding ambient air.
"GENESIS" also has only one moving part, a Wheel, compared with Piston-driven
Engines and Generators and so other losses due to mechanical linkages are minimized.
Also, piston-driven engines and generators wear out relatively fast compared with
"GENESIS" wherein only the bearings need to be replaced every number of years and
not the whole engine or generator! "GENESIS" can be developed to supply a
multi-billion dollar global market which can replace the use of fossil fuels. It can
be introduced gradually in products like portable, commercial generators and engines which
compete with the Honda and Yamaha Generators sold at Canadian Tires stores and in hardware
stores across North America and worldwide.
Another invention of mine for which a U.S. Patent has already
been issued is an Internal Momentum Engine or Impulse Drive which may even be competitive
with technologies developed at and for the Saucer Program at Area 51/S-4 in Nevada by E.G.
& G. and the U.S. Department of Energy, et al.. Testing has been done on behalf of
the Canadian Space Agency which was paid for, in part, by the National Research Council of
Canada. This new invention has been endorsed by Dr. Harold Aspden of the University in
Southampton, U.K., one of the world's foremost experts in Advanced Energy and Propulsion
Systems and the former head of patenting for I.B.M. in Europe for nineteen years. When
a presentation was made at a technical symposium and conference in Texas about the Internal
Momentum Engine a number of years ago, it was the only new invention and technology that
truly inspired the interest and attention of U.S. Admiral Warren Aut, Chief of the Allied
Forces in Europe, i.e., of N.A.T.O., the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Countries.

(2) "GENESIS" is a new hybrid electric generator
and hybrid rotary jet/rocket "engine" which is configured as, "... a wheel
in the middle of a wheel.", Ezekiel 1:16 (The Book of the Prophet Ezekiel), and that
has only one moving part, a wheel surrounded by a stationary ring-boiler which recovers
and converts the additional heat (thermal energy) produced during combustion into
electrical energy via an additional turbine-generator or via a feedback loop into the
intake of the wheel itself. The hollow wheel is rotated by jet/rocket nozzles on the
wheel's rim. Mechanical energy is provided by the wheel's rotation in a fashion
similar to the motion of a reciprocating piston within its cylinder of an internal
combustion or diesel engine. The products produced during the combustion of the
preferred fuels of Hydrogen or Hydrogen Peroxide (which is stable and not volatile or
dangerous compared with Hydrogen) are steam (which is condensed into pure water) and
oxygen. With an energy efficiency of up to twice or more the efficiences of conventional
internal combustion and diesel engines, "GENESIS", comprising an electric
motor-generator attached to the rotating wheel, etc., is also designed to replace
conventional electric power generating plants and technologies at a fraction of their
costs, e.g., nuclear, coal and gas burning, and co-generation electrical generating
stations as well as compete with the smaller, portable generators on the markets
today. "GENESIS" provides both ROTATIONAL (MECHANICAL) ENERGY and THERMAL
ENERGY (HEAT) which is normally wasted in conventional gasoline engines, etc..
"GENESIS" is also designed to re-generate our world's living ecology and
environment for current and future generations. The manufacturing cost is also
projected to be significantly lower compared with conventional electric generators. The
technology for "GENESIS" can also be implemented within all conventional
burners, hot water heaters and boilers, etc., to significantly improve their energy
efficiencies and their respective commercial and industrial values and markets.
(1) "The Genesis Technologies" convert the wave
motion and energy of our world's seas and oceans through turbines, wings or pontoons that
surround and comprise the hulls of marine vessels and via a transmission into stored
rotational energy in flywheel-generators which can be downloaded to power a vessel's
electrical systems and to provide propulsion via an electric motor(s) which drive the
vessel's props, etc.. The Genesis Technologies ("Genesis") can reduce fuel
costs and consumption as well as pollution by up to and prospectively over fifty percent
(almost like "perpetual motion" and perpetually free energy supplies, i.e., when
also implemented as floating power generating stations or as auxiliary and emergency
electrical energy generation systems for yachts and recreational vehicles, etc.). I
have also designed and invented an Advanced Silent Drive that does not have an
"acoustic signature pattern" and which is very effective as an Advanced Marine
Drive/Propulsion System. Related to this and also recommended to the Pentagon and to
the U.S. Office of Naval Research in Arlington, Virginia is an Advanced Centrifugal Thrust
Turbine Drive which replaces conventional propellers and which will never cavitate yet
increases its performance at higher r.p.m.. This new invention is also very
beneficial to protecting marine life and our living marine ecology as it has no cutting
blades!
(3) Novel Designs of Wind Turbines, Solar Energy
Devices and Hydro-Electric Stations and Devices that do not
require the building of
dams, etc., and thereby these are aesthetically appealing and beneficial to the
environment. The
Inventions of Solar, Wind & Novel Hydro-Electric Devices can be integrated with the
Novel
Inventions of new
Electric Motor-Generators.
(4) Another unique electrical power generation system can
be produced with mostly off-the-shelf parts and applies standard knowledge
in engineering and physics. A flowing body of water, e.g., a
river, can provide natural pressure which is produced originally by gravity
generated by the slope of the river, however slight. Accordingly, the flow rate of
water in any river, even at lower velocities of flow rates, can be used to
generate Hydro-Electric Power with this new Design, Invention and Technology.
Small systems can be sold to individual farmers and larger systems can electrically power
cities and industrial plants. Complex constructions would not have to be done, e.g.,
as we see at Niagara Falls and the Yangtze River Dam, et al., would not have to
have been built, had they implemented this new environmentally aesthetic, beneficial
and low cost technology. There is a tremendous global market requirement and
industrial demand for this new invention and technology which can be produced at a
relatively small fraction of the costs of building hydro-electric dams and power
generation stations.
DESRIPTIONS OF SOME OTHER INVENTIONS
I am an inventor and designer of new technologies, e.g.,
Turbines, Blowers, Compressors and Pumps, etc.. Previously, I have been involved
with other environmental water treatment projects and, before that, with a number of
Advanced Marine Drives and Propulsion Systems.
I have also designed some revolutionary
electric generators and hybrid "engines" with only one moving part and
double the energy efficienceis of internal combustion and diesel engines. Two U.S.
Air Force Bases previously expressed interest in my new inventions and designs of
Turbines, etc., i.e., Wright-Patterson AFB and Edwards AFB. A computer simulation
was run using SABER by an engineer and a physicist at the Hughes Aircraft Company and
Delco Electronics Company in California.
Years ago, in California, my friend and partner, Mr.
Richard Bruce MacFarlane, invented and developed the Particle Beam Laser or Mass
Amplifier (MARS Weapon) at the U.S. China Lake Naval Weapons Laboratory. Since
that time, I have designed and invented industrial and commercial technology comprising
a "THERMAL LASER" based on infrared techniques to generate Coherent EM
(Electromagnetic) Waves and Radiation. More recently, I have invented and designed
"TIME", an Advanced Thermal Interferential Molecular Energy Device comprising
two Beams of different Frequencies that coincide on a target, e.g., an asteroid,
aircraft, rock formation for mining or even an aircraft carrier. At the point of
contact of the targeted mass, the two incoming beams then generate a third
"interferential" wave pattern or frequency which is based upon and derived
from the difference in frequencies of the two incoming, coherent EM Waves/Beams, which
radially expands, irradiating and permeating a target achieving a standing wave pattern,
molecular resonance and target disintegration within seconds or even microseconds, much
like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge used as an example of resonance in standard physics
textbooks. Unlike a "Laser" or "Particle Beam Weapon" that
"punches" a hole through a target in the precise location that it contacts a
"target" or mass, the 3rd Interferential Wave Pattern generated by
"TIME" internally within a target, e.g., an asteroid, implementing the
technology for peaceful purposes which will protect the Earth, permeates throughout the
complete mass of the target from its point or area of initial contact and beam
intersection in a fashion similar to the interferential wave generated by the medical
device known as an Interferential Sine Wave Neuromuscular Stimulator used for the
treatments of pain and injuries, etc., which is based upon the intersection within one's
body of two primary wavelengths of different frequencies generating thereby the 3rd
interferential Wave. The technology of "TIME" is more advanced in some
areas than the Russian Intersection Interference Weam Weapon System and the Particle
Beam Weapon Systems comprising the stable of "Star Wars" technologies of the
United States of America. A friend who was the Project Director, U.S. Marines
Non-Lethal Electromagnetic Weapons Program, U.S. Naval Surface Weaponry Center, has
stated that "TIME" is theoretically correct. I am only interested in
commercial, industrial and humanitarian technology development programs, markets and
applications of the "TIME" Devices and Technology, e.g., for mining and
medical applications, etc.. I like to mention a bit about the new invention and
technology of "TIME" or otherwise, some people will not pay attention if one
only talks about humanitarian and environmental products, new inventions and
technologies alone! This is the simple Truth!
Briefly, a few of my other new Inventions and
Technologies for which I am seeking development opportunities, partners and funding
include:
(1) Novel and Advanced Rotary Pumps for Water and Oil,
etc..
I have also invented an Advanced Resonance Drive System which
implements two or more small electric motors (e.g., 2 x 10 hp, horsepower) and which can
generate more torque than a motor or engine with 100 hp output capabilities. This was
recommended to the U.S. Navy by an engineer and a physicist at the Hughes Aircraft Company
and Delco Electronics Company. There are a myriad of commercial and industrial
applications and product derivatives from the technology.

Re: Inventions
of Novel & Advanced Propulsion & Energy Conversion Systems
I have been involved in research projects to
develop innovative propulsion systems
for twenty years and have previously established
research projects and facilities in
Palmdale, California, U.S.A., Vancouver,
B.C., Canada and Toronto, Ontario, Canada,
et al.. I have established projects to
develop novel experimental propulsion systems
that are "non-linear", including
Antigravity propulsion and research into Hyperspace
Vehicles and Technology (Field Resonance
Physics) with a friend of mine who was
previously, Co-ordinator, NASA Johnson Space
Center, Houston, Texas, U.S.A. and a
research physicist. A very good friend of
one of my other partners and mentors, i.e., of
Calvin Lee, former Guerrilla Warfare Weaponry
Advisor to the U.S. Navy for fourteen years,
inventor, scientist, U.S. Naval Technical
Intelligence, U.S. National Intelligence Authority
(Saucers, Advanced Propulsion and Energy
Conversion Systems, etc.), was one of the chief
engineers for the U.S. Philadelphia
Experiments. I have also been familiar with the previous
research into existing propulsion systems that
Dr. Robert Forward conducted on behalf of
the U.S. Air Force, e.g., Edwards AFB. I
wanted to provide you with a brief overview of some
of my background and familiarity with novel and
advanced propulsion systems. I am also
an inventor and have conducted my own
research into Advanced and Novel Propulsion and
Energy Conversion Systems since 1986 and
have a U.S. Patent for a "Non-Linear Propulsion
and Energy Conversion System" which was
endorsed by Dr. Harold Aspden of the University
in Southampton, U.K., the former head of
patenting for I.B.M. in Europe for nineteen years and
one of the world's experts on Advanced
Propulsion and Energy Conversion Systems.
(1) Testing was done on behalf of the
Canadian Space Agency of the novel propulsion system
I invented
and that was endorsed by Dr. Harold Aspden. A platform was suspended between
two
force transducers located at either end of the "floating" platform. Impulses
were recorded
at both
ends of the platform during (1) actions between bodies involving only linear transfers
of linear
momentum and (2) actions between bodies on the platform involving partial linear and
partial
rotational interactions and transfers of momentum between bodies. The test results
indicated a
difference and reduction in linear momentum in Case (2) involving partial rotational
interactions of approximately 5 percent. Equal initial Impulses
were applied at the one end of the
"floating" platform in both Cases (1) and (2). As any change in the Linear
Momentumn of a body, e.g.,
of a vehicle, aircraft or marine vessel, is basically equal to the Impulse
applied to the body and, as
the Impulse is basically the sum of the force applied to the mass or
body over a period of time, for
a given
change in the resultant Linear Momentum, i.e., for any given Impulse, as the time
of the
Impulse application is minimized, the Force is maximized and approaches
Infinity, at some point
along the
curve thereby exceeding the force of gravity. The test results also interested U.S.
Admiral
Warren Aut
and others. I have also designated this particular invention as an "Impulse
Drive" or
"Internal Momentum Engine".
I have several other novel Inventions and
Designs of novel and Advanced Propulsion and Energy
Converstion Systems.
(2) A computer simulation using a
SABER program has been previously conducted on of the novel
Inventions
and designs by associates with the Hughes Aircraft Company and Delco Electronics
Company in
the U.S.A., indicating that the device, a Centrifugal Turbine, does not cavitate but only
increases
its performance at higher r.p.m.. A presentation was made to ONR, the U.S. Office of
Naval
Research in Arlington, Virginia after we received a letter of interest in some of the
inventions
from the
Offices of the Secretary of the (U.S.) Navy, et al.. However, we believe that the
presentation
was never
reviewed or made it out of their files or in-basket due to the inefficiencies of their
bureaucracy!
(3) Another invention and design of
Advanced Propulsion System that I have created uses induction and
a Turbine
or Centrifugal Drive. It is far more efficacious than Magnetohydrodynamics and it also
has
the benefit
of being a relatively "Silent" Drive System, i.e., there are no external
props and the acoustic
signature
("noise") is minimized. One of my earlier friends and partners in the mid
1990s to 1997, along
with
the engineer and physicist at Hughes and Delco, was the late Dr. Borys Polyachenko, Ph.D.,
Physics,
then, First
Secretary, Science and Technology, Embassy of Ukraine in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada whose
father was
a Deputy Director, as I recall the title, at the ANTONOV Aeronautical, Scientific and
Technical
Complex in
Kiev, Ukraine. Dr. Polyachenko expressed interest in a number of Advanced Propulsion
Systems and
Generators that I had invented for use in Ukraine's Saucer Program (i.e., Advanced Research
Programs).
(4) Another invention and one of
my designs of Advanced Propulsion System has no moving parts and it is
designed to
replace Jet and Rocket Engines, as are a number of the designs. There are a few
different
yet related
inventions, some of which have been studied and endorsed by engineers and physicists, e.g.,
at Hughes
and Delco, etc..
(A) One of the designs to replace Jet (and
Rocket) Engines does not require a (RAM) Turbine-Compressor.
The
Turbines of conventional jet engines are rotated from low r.p.m. when the jet engine is
engaged
through
to very high r.p.m. when the jet is in flight and motion, etc. (or hovering, e.g., the
Harrier Jet).
The
air through the intake is compressed by the Turbine and rammed into the
combustion chamber
which is
the intrinsic nature and configuration of a jet engine. Otherwise, there's not
enough oxygen
to provide for the combustion process and any significant resultant degree of
thrust. Jet engines can
have up to
and over 4,000 moving parts, according to an exhibit at the Smithsonian
Institution's National
Air and
Space Museum and as propulsion and combustion engineers know and are familiar with.
One of
my earlier
partners in California for an Advanced Research Project that I established was a
mechanical,
combustion
and propulsion engineer who earlier worked on the design and testing of the NASA Hypersonic
Research Engine and later as Project Engineer for COEN Inc. at their
headquarters in California. You can
imagine the reduction in manufacturing cost for a jet engine which has no moving parts!
The
new invention and design does not require a Turbine-Compressor yet induces high velocity Air
Flow and
"compression". The Induced High Velocity Air Flow is enhanced
by RAM effects as the
system or
vehicle beings accelerating and translates. Further enhancements can include
Ionization
of the Air
Flow and and Rare Earth Magnets or Electromagnetic Pulses as well as an optional
Electrostatic
system.
The inventions, designs and technologies are proprietary and I would be happy to
discuss the
inventions
in more detail after the signing of a standard Confidentiality Agreement. My
associates and
colleagues
realized that with the new invention and design, one could "fly" right out

Thank you for your reply and interest in the
novel inventions of Advanced Energy Conversion and Propulsion Systems
that I have been researching and have
created. You and I probably have a lot of similar interests and have covered a similar
spectrum in researching new technologies and inventions for commercial development and
markets. A number of the inventions would not require a major investment of capital to
prototype and refine the products to the point of having suitable manufacturing production
prototypes. Over the years I have personally raised or helped to raise the money
required for prototypes and the experimental research projects at machine shops and other
facilities in both Canada and
in the United States.
I hope that the materials that I have provided
today which only describe a portion of my new inventions and technologies are of some
interest to you. Having done a lot of research for years myself looking for
novel, advanced and even fascinating and "esoteric" (e.g., Antigravity)
propulsion systems, I may truly be familiar with your areas of interest and perhaps even of
your research and development parameters both for yourself, personally. You may also
be interested in my designs of novel and advanced Engines, Marine Drive Systems and high
efficiency Electric Generators which replace Internal Combustion and Diesel Engines and
conventional portable Electric Generators as well as providing viable and low-cost
environmentally beneficial alternatives to Nuclear, Coal and Gas Burning and
Hydro-electric Power Generating Stations and technologies. It is my belief that,
to be economically viable and effective in the marketplace, companies should always pay
particular attention to new inventions and perhaps, "revolutionary" technologies
which can change the markets and global economy in a relatively short period of
time as did the inventions of the electric motor-generator, lightbulb, flight, of
steam and internal combustion engines, etc., and of the computer, automobile and lasers,

Colin Campbell on Oil Perhaps the World's Foremost Expert on Oil and the Oil Business Confirms the Ever More Apparent Reality of the Post-9-11 World by Michael C. Educated at Oxford and holding a Masters degree he has served as a geologist for Oxford University, Texaco, British Petroleum and Amoco (prior to the BP Amoco merger). He has served in executive positions with Shenandoah Oil, Amoco, Fina and was Chairman of the Nordic American Oil Company. He has served as a consultant on oil for the Bulgarian government as well as for Statoil, Mobil, Amerada, Total, Shell, Esso and for the firm Petroconsultants in Geneva. He is the Convener and Editor of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and a Trustee of the Oil Depletion Analysis Center in London. Before beginning this interview it is necessary for the reader to understand several critical factors about oil and oil production. All of these factors affect how much you or industry pays for oil, how much is available, and what this life-essential commodity can do. Almost every current human endeavor from transportation, to manufacturing, to plastics, and especially food production is inextricably intertwined with oil and natural gas supplies. Commercial food production is oil powered. All pesticides are petroleum based, and all commercial fertilizers are ammonia based. Ammonia is produced from natural gas. All oil production follows a bell curve, whether in an individual field or on the planet as a whole. On the upslope of the curve production costs are significantly lower than on the downslope when extra effort (expense) is required to extract oil from reservoirs that are emptying out. The best and easiest to produce oil is always extracted first to maximize profits. In 100 years mankind has used half of all the oil on the planet, oil that took billions of years to produce and is the result of climactic conditions that have existed at only one time in the earth's 4.5 billion- year history. Oil is a non-renewable resource. The key event in the Petroleum Era is not when the oil runs out, but when oil production peaks, especially as demand and population are rising. World per capita oil production peaked in 1979 and has been in decline since. The peak in volume of total world oil production is upon us right now, even as the demand or better said -- the need -- for oil is increasing rapidly. Several things are a given. First the total remaining conventional oil on the planet is estimated to be around 1 trillion barrels. Second, at present rates (not those of five or 10 years from now), the world is using close to 80 million barrels per day. At the current rate there would be only enough oil to sustain the planet for another 35 years under the best of scenarios. But the oil that remains is going to be increasingly expensive to produce and it will tend to be of a lesser quality, necessitating higher refining costs, than what has already been used. All of those costs will have to be passed on in the form of price hikes or -- in some cases -- spikes. Oil price spikes invariably lead to recession. The world's economy is based upon the sale of products that are either made from oil or which need hydrocarbon energy (including natural gas) to operate, either via internal combustion or via electricity. Different regions of the world peak in oil production at different times. The U.S. peaked in the early-1970s. Europe, Russia and the North Sea have also peaked. However the OPEC nations of the Middle East peak last. Within a few years they -- or whoever controls them -- will be in effective control of the world oil economy, and, in essence, of human civilization as a whole. Two of the nations that will peak last are Saudi Arabia and Iraq, both of which will not peak until the middle of the next decade. Saudi Arabia contains 25 percent of all the oil on the planet. Iraq contains 11 percent of all the oil on the planet. Science and the oil industry have confirmed that there is very little oil left to be found, certainly not enough to make a difference in this grim picture, a picture which goes a long way toward explaining the events of 9-11 and since. FTW: What will be the likely effects of hitting the downslope of production? Campbell: Big question. Simply stated: war, starvation, economic recession, possibly even the extinction of homo sapiens, insofar as the evolution of life on earth has always been accomplished by the extinction of over-adapted species (when their environmental niche changed for geologic or climatic reasons) leaving simpler forms to continue, and eventually giving rise new more adapted species. If Homo sapiens figures out how to move back to simplicity, he will be the first to do so. FTW: How soon before we start to feel the effects of dwindling oil supplies? Campbell: We already are -- in the form of the threatened U.S. invasion of the Middle East. The U.S. would be importing 90 percent of its oil by 2020 to hold even current demand and access to foreign oil has long been officially declared a vital national interest justifying military intervention. Probable actual physical shortage of all liquid hydrocarbons worldwide won't appear for about 20 years, especially if deepening recession holds down demand. But people are coming to appreciate that peak is imminent and what it means. Some places like the U.S. will face shortage sooner than others. The price is likely to soar as shortage looms, which itself may delay peak. If the U.S. does invade there will likely be a repeat of Vietnam with many years of fruitless struggle in which the U.S. will be seen as a tyrant and an oppressor, killing all those Arabs. It can't hope to subjugate the place in perpetuity as the people don't surrender easily -- as the Palestinians have shown. So when the U.S. has finally gone, Russia and China will likely be welcomed there to produce whatever is left in the ruins. FTW: Are the major oil companies currently downsizing? If so why? Campbell: The majors are merging and downsizing and outsourcing and not investing in new refineries because they know full well that production is set to decline and that the exploration opportunities are getting less and less. Who would drill in 10,000 feet of water if there were anywhere else easier left? But the companies have to sing to the stock market, and merger hides the collapse of the weaker brethren. The staff is purged on merger and the combined budget ends up much less than the sum of the previous components. Besides, a lot of the executives and bankers make a lot of money from the merger. FTW: How much oil is really left? Campbell: You have to think of different categories of oil. Speaking of conventional, which is the easy cheap stuff that has supplied most uses to date and will dominate all supply far into the future, there is about 1 trillion barrels left. To this you have to add: A) Oil from coal, "shale," tar sands, heavy oil -- the resource is very large, but extraction rate is low and costly, sometimes giving negative net energy. B) Deepwater oil -- (from a depth of greater than 500 meters) about 60 billion barrels C) Polar -- about 30 billion, maybe. D) Natural gas liquids -- about 300 billion barrels FTW: I take it that it is a given that in any particular oil field, or globally, costs of extraction increase as one progresses down the curve. What is the usual nature of these increased costs? Do they usually require additional investment of capital for infrastructure? Is there a chart which shows how costs increase as production declines? Campbell: Yes of course costs go up and every situation is different. In Texas they can still profitably use wells producing 5 b/d. But offshore the threshold is higher. It is more complex because they have the sunk costs of the platform and also face substantial abandonment costs. Furthermore tax distorts the picture, with most operating cost being written off against taxable income either in the host or home country or both. But reserves are defined as recoverable under current or foreseen economics, so non-economic tail-end theoretical production is not included anyway. I think the key issue is not so much the economic cut off but when production of even highly profitable oil heads into decline. The tail end, which is susceptible to economic constraints, is small and not very relevant. Oil has a polarity being either there in profitable abundance or not there at all -- mainly because it is a liquid that flows to accumulate somewhere, unlike coal where extraction is a matter of concentration in seam thickness and access. FTW: Is all oil in the ground recoverable? If not, why not? Campbell: Only a fraction of the oil in the reservoir is recoverable because it does not sit in one big cavern down there but in the very small pore spaces between the grains of sand. These grains are coated in water and when it coalesces, it blocks the pore spaces preventing the further movement of oil. Also there are many nooks and crannies in the rocks that are not in communication. Obviously light oil is easier to extract than heavy. You can pump in steam etc. to try and move it, which is now routinely done where feasible. It is said that recovery has increased from 30 percent to 40 percent thanks to technology and is set to rise from more technology in the future. But most of this improvement has nothing to do with technology. It is an artifact of reporting. The industry has always made conservative initial estimates (liking to build an inventory of unreported reserves to tide them over bad years and also reduce taxes) so reserves naturally grow over time. Besides, extracting a bit more has a minimal impact on peak, which is the critical turning point, much more important than eventually running [completely] out, which we may never do as the tail end can drag on. FTW: What would you say to the people who insist that oil is created from magma, or that there's really so much that we don't have to worry? Campbell: Oil sometimes does occur in fractured or weathered crystalline rocks, which may have led people to accept this theory, but in all cases there is an easy explanation of lateral migration from normal sources. Isotopic evidence provides a clear link to the organic origins. No one in the industry gives the slightest credence to these theories: after drilling for 150 years they know a bit about it. Another misleading idea is about oilfields being refilled. Some are, but the oil simply is leaking in from a deeper accumulation. FTW: Will Central Asian-Caspian pipelines have an impact on the crisis? How long will it take them to come on line? Campbell: There was talk of the place holding over 200 Gb [billion barrels] (I think emanating from the USGS [U.S. Geological Survey]), but the results after 10 years of work have been disappointing. The West came in with high hopes. The Soviets found Tengiz onshore in 1979 with about 6 Gb of very deep, high sulfur oil in a reef. Chevron took over and is now producing it with difficulty. But offshore they found a huge prospect called Kashagan in a similar geological setting to Tengiz. If it had been full, it could have contained 200 Gb, but they have now drilled three deep wells at huge cost, finding that instead of being a single reservoir it, like Tengiz, is made up of reefs. Reserves are now quoted at between 9 Gb and 13 Gb. BP-Statoil has pulled out. Caspian production won't make any material difference to world supply. There is however a lot of gas in the vicinity. To put it in perspective this would supply the world for a little over a year, but it is broadly the same as U.S. potential It is quite possible that the Afghan war was about securing a strong point in this area. But interest in it has now dwindled along with Caspian prospects as the U.S. turns to Iraq, which does have some oil. It is curious that these two U.S. military exercises had different pretexts A) Afghanistan was to find the supposed architect of Sept. 11 -- in which it failed; and B) Iraq is about a sudden and unexplained fear that it might develop some objectionable weapons that might pose a threat to someone in the future. North Korea, which already has nuclear weapons and long range missiles -- and isn't exactly a friendly place -- is not deemed a threat. The cynic can be forgiven for thinking there is some other motive for these military moves: could it be oil? FTW: When and how was it discovered that the Central Asian reserves were much smaller than anticipated? Campbell: I guess you could say over the past 24 months as the different pieces in the jigsaw fell into place. There is no single event or date, but rather an evolving picture FTW: What about replacement sources and alternative energy? Tar sands? Campbell: Of course there is a range of alternatives from wind, sun, tide, nuclear, etc. but today they contribute only a very small percentage, and do not come close to matching the oil of the past in terms of cost or convenience. No doubt production from tar sands and heavy oils can be stepped up in the future but it is painfully slow and expensive, carrying also environmental costs. It will help ameliorate the decline but has minimal impact on peak. The simple solution is to use less. We are extremely wasteful energy users. But it involves a fundamental change of attitude and the rejection of classical economic principles, which were built on endless growth in a world of limitless resources. Those days are over, exacerbated by the soaring population, itself now set to decline partly from energy shortage. FTW: Has anyone determined what percentage of oil is used for military purposes worldwide? If so, how much? Campbell: I don't know how much is used for military purposes, but it must be considerable. The U.S. has built a huge stockpile in the Middle East for the war. FTW: Is China the end game of competition for oil? Campbell: Yes, China is in desperate need of imports as its own supply depletes. It has been very thoroughly explored. It will be vying with the U.S. for access to foreign oil. It is already well established in Iraq. That is about how I see it. According to CNN, the 'crowd control (sic)' versions are described as 'designed to stop people by firing millimeter-wave electromagnetic energy in a beam that quickly heats up the surface of the victim's skin.' The military applications of microwaves will eventually eliminate the need for conventional forms of weapons. The devices will also be used for crowd control, i.e., against demonstrators, internally within the United States of America and Canada, by the police and military services. They have already been used on protesters who were protesting against a U.S. military base with nuclear and cruise missiles in England and they have most likely been implemented already internally within the U.S.A.. However, you generally won't see the microwave devices which are hidden in vans, etc.. The internal effects of the microwave weapons may be somewhat difficult to determine and a protester may actually die a year or so later of "natural causes". The devices may also be implemented in planes, e.g., perhaps even in jet aircraft doing tests of the weapons around Hainan, i.e., by the U.S. Air Force. They will most likely be used in any upcoming wars or engagements of and by the military services of the United States of America. Years ago, authorities found a friend of a friend of mine in a car. He had gotten too close in his research into the secrets of the U.S. government at facilities such as Area 51/S-4 in Nevada. He had literally been "deep fried" and looked like an Egyptian mummy with only his taut skin and skeleton remaining. Years later, a good friend, mentor and partner, former Guerrilla Warfare Weaponry Advisor to the U.S. Navy for fourteen years, U.S. Naval Technical Intelligence, et al., referred to this as a "hot job" and he was quite familiar with the use of microwave weapons for assassinations. According to a friend of mine and a previous partner, Richard Bruce MacFarlane, who is the inventor of the Particle Beam Laser (MARS Weapon, Mass Amplifier), developed at the U.S. China Lake Naval Weapons Center and at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (part of the U.S. stable of "Star Wars" technologies), the use of this weapon was first noted when it was observed that a flock of seagulls flew in front of a radar transmitter in England during WWII and they were "fried" from the inside out! "According to scientist Tom Bearden, the leading U.S. expert on
scalar electromagnetics, there is something much worse on the horizon about "the causes of
disease." This is a new type of electromagnetic weapon called the "Quantum Potential
Weapon" which goes beyond even the incredible abilities of the Longitudinal Wave
Interferometers. According to his information it
was tested in the Gulf War and is ONE of the causes (not necessarily the only one) of the Gulf War syndrome. One of the main ways it is used is to compromise and weaked the immune systems of those in the target region by creating local space-time curvature "engines" bearing the quantum patterns of several diseases at once. By keeping the level of the broadcast at a low level "shadow disease states" are created in the body such that the immune state is triggered to try to fight them. The immune system is "fooled" and goes into overdrive gradually depleting it to a point where conventional biowarfare would be far more (10 times?) effective than otherwise."

Historical Perspective:
Years ago, in California, my partner, Mr.
Richard Bruce MacFarlane, invented and developed the Particle Beam Laser or MASS AMPLIFIER
(MARS Weapon) at the U.S. China Lake Naval Weapons Laboratory. We were close friends and

technology comprising a "THERMAL LASER" based on infrared techniques to generate EM

"TIME", an Advanced Thermal Interferential Molecular Energy Device comprising two
Beams at a Differential in Frequencies that coincide on a target and then generate a third
interferential wave pattern or frequency (based upon the differential in frequencies of the
two incoming EM Waves/Beams), achieving a standing wave pattern which amplifies and permeates
throughout a target achieving internal molecular resonance and target disintegration.
Unlike a "Laser" or "Particle Beam Weapon" that "punches" a hole

Phase 1 (TIME Numerical Code: 8 ):
Phase 1 includes the development of a TIME
device and system comprising two or more coherent beams, e.g., laser, microwave or
maser, IR (infrared), EM (electromagnetic), hertzian (linear), scalar (non-linear, non-hertzian),
et al., etc., or non-coherent system, e.g., "ELF", i.e., any means
to generate, or any source of, two different frequencies, e.g., between 0 to
1,000 Hertz, i.e., ELF (Extremely Low Frequency, to start with), such that they
coincide on a remote target, object, structure or mass and generate an interference
pattern or a third interferential wave pattern and frequency within the targeted
mass. The third, derivative and interferential frequency is derived from the
differential in frequencies between the two primary intersecting coherent beams and
frequencies. The 3rd wave pattern will radially permeate the target or mass
establishing a standing wave pattern which then amplifies and achieves resonance within
the targeted mass and then complete disintegration of the targeted object,
structure or mass potentially within microseconds after beam coincidence and the
initial time of surface contact. The effects of TIME are similar to the
standard Physics Textbook example of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge at Puget Sound,
Washington State, U.S.A., which was destroyed by the wind which induced vibrations
(oscillations) and an amplifying standing wave pattern which achieved
resonance with the natural frequency of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge itself and tore
it apart. The capability to acoustically induce resonance using an extremely
low frequency in a remote target or mass, e.g., within a building, has already been
demonstrated by a previous partner of mine. However, the beam was acoustic and not
coherent and so therefore was not effective over long distances. Another weapon
system which demonstrated the capabilities and effects of resonance over a distance
of approximately one quarter of a mile was Sonic 1, a very destructive weapon
system that was banned by the United Nations decades ago, according to a good
friend, mentor and previous partner of mine who had earlier served with U.S.
Naval Technical Intelligence, the U.S. National Intelligence Authority and as Guerrilla
Warfare Weaponry Advisor to the U.S. Navy for fourteen years. Everything in the
path of Sonic 1would be caused to vibrate, even the leaves on the trees,
and all biological lifeforms would be blown apart as the vibrations amplified.
Experiments will be conducted during Phase 1 to
determine the resonant frequencies of various and diverse targets, structures and
objects such as steel, aluminum, various rocks, buildings and other
structures including marine vessels, e.g., Aircraft Carriers, Submarines, et al.,
land vehicles and conventional and non-conventional Aircraft, e.g., Advanced Aircraft
and Saucers.
Phase 2 (TIME Numerical Code: 88 ):
Phase 2 will include the developments
of TIME devices and systems comprising (1) only one coherent beam carrying two Primary
Frequencies set at a differential of between 0 to 1,000 Hz, for example, (2) the
implementation of one coherent beam split into two beams with a standard beam
splitter such that the coherent beams also carry the two primary frequencies
set at the desired frequency differential generating an interference pattern in the
target or mass upon beam coincidence and interference which will yield the
third resultant Interferential wave pattern that will radially permeate the
targeted object or mass, and (3) the implementation of only one beam (optionally
comprising a beam splitter and two "relatively parallel coherent beams emitted
therefrom") and only one primary frequency. In (3), two primary
frequencies are generated and derived from the one primary frequency through
feedback or another mechanism or means to accomplish a time delay and
differential in the resultant derivative frequencies, e.g., (i) using a beam
splitter and optics, glass prisms or mirrors, etc., which can be programmed
and adjustable in themselves to achieve various desired output frequencies and
differentials, and (ii) electronics, e.g., a chip or circuit designed and
programmed to provide feedback, a differential in frequencies and an overlay of the
frequencies being carried and transmitted in (a) one
coherent beam, or (b) two concurrent resultant beams (e.g., using the
beam splitter), one primary frequency and effectively using time delay to
achieve two different resultant primary waves which are out of phase by
the desired differential and which, when contacting a remote target, object,
structure or mass, produce the desired third interference wave or
frequency, i.e., radially penetrating interference pattern within the remote
target, object, structure or mass. We have already demonstrated and
accomplished this in the laboratory with prototypes, successfully and
repetitively. Not only can any primary EM frequency be
selected, relatively, the time delay can be precisely regulated, set and controlled
as desired in order to choose any resultant
interference pattern, e.g., ELF between 0 to 1,000 Hz, etc., for example, within the
remote target, object, structure or mass. In the human body and in other
biological lifeforms, the third radially penetrating Interferential wave pattern will
extend from the initial area of contact and intersection of the two primary
frequencies, e.g., in one's hand, upwards and across one's arm and throughout one's
body, depending on the intensity of the current. Only a very small amount of power
is required, e.g., a 9 volt battery and an electrical current of less than 25
milliamperes to achieve these effects. For those who are interested in the medical

Phase 3 (TIME Numerical Code: 888 ):
Phase 3 will include the developments described in
Phases 1 and 2 and the additional implementation of a tsunami wave pattern which
comprises such wave patterns as are found in nature in tidal waves, etc.,
which intrisically comprise an undulating series of pulses of varying intensities and
which amplify to produce the tsunami wave pattern internally within the targeted object,
fluid, structure or mass. Phase 3 will also include the development of a
scanning system and device which will scan a remote target, object, structure or mass
and then provide virtually instantaneous feedback to the TIME system and device
with regard to its natural resonant frequency. TIME can be programmed to
adjust its system of primary frequencies to yield the desired and resultant
interferential third wave pattern and frequency which has been determined by
the scanning system or which has already been established and in an existing
computer program and systems interface, etc., and then set to operate at the
natural resonant frequency of the remote target, object, structure or mass.
TIME, 888, can be developed and
implemented to replace all conventional weapons, e.g., armaments and munitions, and
will soon make obsolete existing non-conventional weapons systems as well. No
longer will there be a loss of life or injury in warfare, e.g., from being shot
with a bullet. TIME will induce a muscular response and temporary or flash
spasm in the target, effectively disabling the target and opponent.
However, through previous medical research and the implementations of Interferential
medical devices and technology in hospitals and clinics worldwide to treat muscular
injuries, sprains, repetitive strain injuries, etc. (For reference, see the research and
publications by SIEMENS, et al..), the frequencies generally employed and
designated for use in portable TIME devices (which replace handguns, rifles, EM
Pulse weapon systems and conventional armaments and munitions, e.g., field cannons,
artillery and tanks, etc.) only serve to disable and
actually provide beneficial healing effects during the disabling process that are
currently used today in medical treatments!
Once the TIME, 888, devices and technologies
have been fully developed for their numerous commercial, industrial, humanitarian
and medical applications and implemented accordingly, I herein propose that all
conventional weapons and weapon systems including handguns, rifles, armaments, munitions
and all other non-conventional weapons systems be permanently and forever banned by
the United Nations, by all of the Member States and by all of the people
from all nations, races, cultures and religions on Earth. Of course, not only
governments, police, military and security services should have access to the TIME
devices and defense systems (888), the devices should also be made commercially and
universally available to the people for their own protection.
