Preliminary Mission Statement
Oct. 30, 2001
To: Remnant Saints Leadership Guild founding members (under formation)
Four matters of business.
The first is a quick reminder to accept/reject your nomination if you haven't already done so. The
second regards the writing of a mission statement that requires your attention if you intend to be a
founding member of the RS leadership guild. The third is a notice of a pending vote that will be put
before those who have already accepted their nomination, and which will help define the guild
henceforth.
If you are considering involvement in the guild, it would be good to go ahead and make your decision
and let us know, so you can be a part of this first major decision -- the one that defines what the
organization will be about -- its mission statement. Whether or not you intend to be part of the
guild, your input into the wording of the mission statement will be welcome.

(2) Relationship between Remnant Saints and Patriot Alliance
(a) Proposed: Remnant Saints (specifically designed for the survival of and communication between
the various elements of the patriot movement) will come under the more general umbrella of the newly
formed (International) Patriot Alliance www.patriotalliance.com
. This relationship is indicated in the statement that is now located in the top-left of the
remnantsaints website: "RemnantSaints.com is a member of the Patriot Alliance and subscribes to
its mission statement." (the latter half of this statement is addressed in the next point)
(b) The mission statement and brief elaboration of the statement is currently found at
http://www.patriotsaints.com/Alliance/MissionStatement/
When the Internet DNS update activates within 24 hours, the permanent URL will be:
http://www.patriotalliance.com/MissionStatement/
Having this statement in place will help define our purpose and vision -- something around which we
can rally.
It is not too late to make changes to the statement. Feedback is welcome and encouraged.
(3) Voting on the final draft is tentatively set to take place Nov. 6, which is also the date that
the founding membership will be finalized. Preliminary drafts of the mission statement will be
presented prior to that time, and points of deliberation may be voted upon by those who have already
accepted their nominations.
(4) An egroup has been created specifically for handling the managing affairs of the leadership
guild. Those who have accepted their nomination will be added to the list. A "special
announcements only" option can be selected for those who wish to be notified only of final
voting. All guild members will have access to the web archives, whether or not their e-mail setting
is for "special announcements" or "daily digest" or "individual email. An
explanation of how to select a setting will be given when a person is added to the list (by
invitation only -- to those who have accepted their nomination).
Sincerely,
Sterling D. Allan
and all the others who are/will be part of this.
